The PristineBlue Mini Test Kit provides an easy, accurate way to measure PristineBlue copper levels in your spa, pool, or hot tub. Recommended for use every two weeks as part of the PristineBlue maintenance schedule, this kit ensures your copper levels stay at the optimal range for effective algae and bacteria control.
What’s Included
- Test tube with 10 mL fill line
- Copper A reagent drops
- Copper B reagent drops
- Color-matching chart
- Tube holder
How to Use
- Fill the test tube to the 10 mL mark with your spa or pool water
- Add 5 drops of Copper A, cap the tube, and invert to mix
- Remove the cap, add 5 drops of Copper B, cap, and invert to mix
- Place the tube in the holder and wait 3 minutes for color to develop
- Remove the cap and hold the tube bottom about half an inch above the white area on the color chart — match the color by looking down through the tube
- Empty and rinse the tube promptly after reading to prevent staining
Important: Always check your water’s pH and alkalinity balance before testing PristineBlue levels. Incorrect pH can produce inaccurate copper readings.
