Why Water Prep Matters
Calcium and other minerals in your water can interfere with PristineBlue’s copper-based formula, reducing its effectiveness. PristineCheck binds these minerals, keeping them from reacting with PristineBlue and ensuring the copper ions remain available for algae and bacteria control. This step is especially important in areas with hard water (high calcium hardness).
How to Use
For spas, add 10 milliliters of PristineCheck per 100 gallons of water. Circulate for 2–4 hours before adding PristineBlue. Clean or backwash your filter after treatment. PristineCheck can also be used during regular bi-weekly maintenance when high calcium hardness is a concern. Always test and balance pH and alkalinity before applying.
