Master Clear Metal Protect is a liquid chelating agent formulated to neutralize dissolved metals in hot tub and swim spa water. Iron, copper, manganese, and other trace metals commonly found in well water and some municipal sources can cause staining, discoloration, and equipment damage if left untreated. Metal Protect binds to these metals and holds them in solution, preventing them from depositing on acrylic surfaces, heater elements, jets, and internal plumbing.
